About Us

Hi, I am Doreen a mother of 3 amazing children, a wife, an Interior Designer by trade. I have a deep passion for fine quality, textures  and textiles. I have a great love for creating and bringing my vision to life. My grandmother taught me how to crochet as a little girl, but I would always get bored and give up on projects before finishing. I learned how to knit 5 years ago after loosing my father, (I am self taught), knitting became my therapy and it helped  me through the most difficult time in my life. I love that I can create something so beautiful with my own hands in a time of my life when I was struggling with grief, the textures of the yarn was extremely gratifying and very therapeutic for me that it brought so much joy and happiness. I don't know if I have gone a day without picking up my needles  or crochet hook and making something on the fly.  I don't leave home without a project bag in hand. My goal one day is to have a little shop of my own to teach the basic skills to children and bring life back to what was a dying art.
